Come and enjoy 3 hours of bushcraft and woodland oriented fun in our 20 acre newly planted woodland near Tarvin in Cheshire. Easily accessible from the A51. Available for all ages
Encounter the magical world of Eric the untidy fairy, sneezing dragons and, based in your own fairy clearing, explore amongst the young trees to find useful items and clues to help the shortsighted wizard fix various things. This party is loosely based on our Pre-school and Key Stage 1 in school service but with less emphasis on learning and more on the simple fun of exploring a large space finding new things and encountering new ways of working together.
More bushcraft based and less story telling. The premise is that the group have been stranded and must successfully complete simple bushcraft tasks in order to return home in time for tea and cakes. They encounter friendly natives on their island or in their jungle and will be shown all the skills required. Items must be found, things must be made, fire must be created and food must be cooked.
More complicated than the previous offerings. The instructions are more complex and the adult intervention is reduced allowing older participants to experiment fully with bushcraft skills.
There are 2 options for adult groups. The first is to relive your youth and let your inner 6 year old out to play with a grownup version of Eric the Fairy and the Sneezing Dragons, or you can learn the bushcraft skills at a more in depth level.
We ask that we are given at least 4 weeks notice of your party requirements but we can sometimes work at short notice depending on other use of the woodlands.
We will discuss as much or as little as is required with you running up to the date and will do everything to ensure that your expectations are met.
Each party is different and even if children have been to previous parties, holiday clubs or have seen us in their schools there is always something new to do.
If you would like a bespoke cake made and themed to your party, we use Custom Cake Co.
